Porsche Boxster growing to make room for small two-seater, report says

The next-generation Porsche Boxster will get a longer wheelbase and measure nearly 173 inches long overall, British magazine Autocar says on its Web site. Why is the Boxster growing? To create room at the bottom of the Porsche lineup for a new two-seater based on the Volkswagen BlueSport concept shown at the Detroit auto show in 2009, the report says.

A new Citroen C3 will debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show with the usual facelift of new bumpers and lights and revised engine range. Astonishingly – for the Citroen C3 is a bit bland – it’s much the same car under the skin as the brilliant DS3, but the C3 is the DS3 with the sparkle missing. The GT Academy was a contest that started last December in which Gran Turismo 5 players competed for a seat in a real race car. Thousands entered, 32 players rose to the top, and 16 of those were invited to a seven-day whirlwind racing and evaluation program at the Silverstone circuit in the United Kingdom.
